With an increase in discussions about healing from childhood trauma, C-PTSD, and anxiety, many people are seeking to heal in order to live purpose-driven lives. On Thursday, Oct. 15, local Black therapists gathered at Midwest Leak Studios in Indianapolis to welcome more than 100 residents eager to explore their options for connecting with mental health specialists of color. It was exciting to see so many present, ready for the next step in their healing journey. Some attendees came on behalf of a family member or loved one, hoping to find the resources they need.
