Midwest Leak is an Indianapolis-based publication established in 2007, published in print and digital editions. All display advertising rates below are per insertion and include placement in both.

Discounts are optional, applied at the publisher’s discretion, and may not be combined with other discounts. Political, governmental, corporate and institutional advertisers are billed at the published rate.

Terms
Art Submission. Advertisers supply print-ready artwork in PDF or JPEG format at 300 dpi, CMYK color, with all fonts embedded or outlined. Sizes listed above are trim sizes. Full page advertisements should be supplied full-bleed at 6″ × 9″, with all live matter kept .25″ inside the trim. Files may be submitted to editor@midwestleak.com.
Payment. Payment is due in full upon signing of the insertion order. Political campaign advertising and first-time advertisers are payable in advance of publication.
Deadlines. Space reservation and camera-ready materials are due 14 business days prior to the publication date of each issue. Materials received after deadline may be held for the following issue at the publisher’s discretion, and payment remains due.
Cancellation. Payments for advertising are non-refundable. Requests received prior to the materials deadline may be moved to a later issue or repurposed at the publisher’s discretion.
Positioning. Except where a premium position has been purchased, advertisement placement within the publication is at the discretion of the publisher.
Acceptance. Midwest Leak reserves the right to decline or discontinue any advertisement at its discretion. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of all claims made in their advertisements. Advertisements that in the publisher’s judgment resemble editorial content may be labeled “Advertisement.” Publication of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement by Midwest Leak.
Political Advertising. Political advertisements must include all disclaimers required by federal, state and local law, including “Paid for by” attribution. Responsibility for compliance rests with the advertiser. Midwest Leak accepts political advertising from all candidates, campaigns and committees on equal terms at the published rate.
Liability. The advertiser warrants that it holds all rights necessary to the materials submitted and agrees to indemnify Midwest Leak against any claims arising from the published advertisement. The publisher’s liability for any error is limited to the cost of the space occupied by the error.
