Legacy Starts Early: Junior Creators Club Brings Real-World Media Experience to Indy Youth
The Junior Creators Club Evolving Entrepreneurs Youth Cohort is a hands-on creative entrepreneurship program for middle and high school students ready to explore media, storytelling, and ownership through real world experience. Hosted at the Midwest Leak Studio in Indianapolis, this spring 2026 cohort focuses on the production of the SOS Podcast: Students on Students. This youth led program allows participants to record and host episodes, interview community leaders, and master the technical aspects of audio and video production. Unlike a typical classroom simulation, students operate in a professional studio environment where they learn to build sustainable futures through economic independence and community legacy.
Beyond technical training, each student in the Evolving Entrepreneurs Youth Cohort becomes an official part of the Midwest Leak cultural archive. By documenting their voices and perspectives in real time, the program ensures that the next generation of Indianapolis leaders has a permanent record of their contributions to the city creative landscape. Participants receive professional headshots, develop a personal creative portfolio, and showcase their work in a public community presentation. As part of the Midwest Leak creative workforce pipeline, the Junior Creators Club is bridging the gap between curiosity and career, preparing young founders to lead with confidence and ownership.
