5th Annual HBCU All-Stars Indy Experience: More Than Just a Game
Indianapolis is set to become the epicenter of Black collegiate excellence as the 5th Annual HBCU All-Star Game arrives on April 5, 2026. Hosted at the Corteva Coliseum, this “Best in Black College Basketball” showcase features the nation’s top 24 student-athletes from premier conferences like the SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, and SIAC.
A Legacy of Empowerment
Founded by Travis L. Williams, HBCU All-Stars, LLC is dedicated to advocating for and investing in the brilliant students and coaches of our nation’s 100+ HBCUs. Following successful runs in New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, and San Antonio, the 2026 Indy Experience continues the mission of providing Exposure, Access, and Recognition (E.A.R.).
Beyond the Court: The “Indy Experience”
The weekend is packed with community-focused events designed to uplift Indianapolis:
- Education & Future: A College Admissions Fair will feature 30–50 HBCUs, exposing local high school students to transformative scholarship opportunities.
- Community Giving: The event will donate 100 caps and gowns to local seniors and give away up to 1,000 game tickets.
- Wellness & Justice: Attendees can participate in mental health boot camps, financial literacy seminars, and a Social Justice & Civil Rights panel.
- Family Fun: “Friday Fun Day” at Sankofa School of Success includes a youth clinic and an Easter Egg Hunt, while the FanFest offers tailgating, live music, and Divine 9 “Step and Strolls”.
Economic and Cultural Impact
This massive undertaking is expected to contribute between $5 million and $10 million to the Indianapolis economy during Final Four Weekend. It is a celebration of history, tradition, and the next generation of leaders.
