Supported by partners like Indiana Humanities and Bottleworks Hotel, the event kicks off with a party at 8th Day Distillery before sending bookworms on a journey to collect stamps on official bookmarks. With no purchase necessary to participate, the crawl remains an accessible way for the community to discover hidden gems from established anchors to the new pop-up hub at The Stutz.

Beyond just a weekend of browsing, the crawl serves as a vital engine for economic and cultural justice within the local arts scene. By encouraging readers to explore shops within a 45 minute radius of downtown, the event highlights the essential role these small businesses play in anchoring neighborhoods and supporting local creators.
