SOS Podcast: Eighth Grade and Elite Brillon Pritchett Jr. Is Already Built for the Varsity Stage

Brillon Pritchett Jr. is already playing a game most eighth graders are only dreaming about. As a varsity basketball player competing against high school athletes, he moves with confidence, discipline, and a quiet focus beyond his years. Ranked among the top players nationally for his class and top three in Indiana, Brillon does not dwell on numbers or hype. He stays in his lane, trusting the work and the talent God gave him. His breakout moment came with a 31 point varsity performance that he still calls unforgettable, proof that he belongs at the next level. A left handed facilitator often compared to Jalen Brunson, Brillon prides himself on running the offense, playing smart defense, and competing at a high level without rushing the process.

Off the court, Brillon’s mindset is just as intentional. A homeschooled student with strong grades, he values balance, flexibility, and preparation, using his schedule to train, stretch, study film, and take care of his body. His dream school is Arkansas, drawn to its consistent coaching and player development, and his pregame routine is simple, fueled by music like Kehlani’s Folded and a big orange for energy. Inspired by players like Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Caitlin Clark, he admires fearlessness, confidence, and resilience. At the heart of it all is family. Brillon credits his parents, grandmother, and little brother as his why, grounding him in purpose as he continues to grow. Known off the court as goofy, fun, and full of personality, Brillon Pritchett Jr. is not just a rising athlete but a young king in the making, building his future one disciplined step at a time.
