Summer Smarts: IU Kids College Blends Career Exploration with Zombie Fun

Indiana University’s Kids College at IU Indianapolis is back this summer with an exciting twist on learning—complete with zombies, careers, and campus life. Designed for rising 7th and 8th graders, this free two-week day camp, running from June 9–20 (no camp on June 19), blends fun and future-ready skills with hands-on experiences across fields like nursing, law, art, social work, and technology. Campers will investigate how to survive a zombie apocalypse while also navigating real-world scenarios, exploring the NCAA Headquarters, dining in college facilities, and discovering what it means to be a student on campus. With limited spots available, this unique summer program offers middle schoolers a playful yet powerful introduction to careers and college life.
