The Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is hosting Water Safety Day a vibrant, family-friendly event you don’t want to miss. Happening May 15, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boys & Girls Club Indianapolis Wheeler-Dowe (2310 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN), this free event brings the community together to spotlight the importance of swimming safety and self-care. In partnership with One America, USA Swimming Foundation, and Boys & Girls Club Indianapolis, the event will include in-water swim lessons to build confidence and skills, plus an out-of-water hair care discussion focused on protecting and maintaining healthy hair around the pool.
