The African American Legacy Fund of Indianapolis (AALFI) hosted a memorable Grant Finalist Presentation Event, where members and supporters gathered to hear from three outstanding organizations dedicated to improving youth mental health: Murphy Mentoring Group Inc., Why Aren’t You Smiling, Inc., and Struggle Made Us. After an evening of powerful presentations, AALFI members voted to award the 2024 grant to Struggle Made Us for its transformative program, Struggle University, which focuses on building youth resilience and healing in Indianapolis.

We are so grateful for the AAFLI for the opportunity to not only continue the work but to reach more. We are excited to get started. Let’s Get It
