Indianapolis Colts cornerback Julius “JuJu” Brents brought the community together on Tuesday evening, December 10, for the inaugural Brents & Folks Gala at The Hawthorns Golf & Country Club. The event, running from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., was a night of elegance and purpose, supporting single parents through the work of the JuJu Brents & Folks Foundation.

Hosted by Brents, an Indianapolis native and the son of a single parent, the gala highlighted the Foundation’s mission of creating generational change. Through financial support, education, and guidance, the organization aims to empower single parents navigating the challenges of raising children independently.

The event featured dinner, live entertainment, and opportunities for attendees to learn more about the Foundation’s initiatives, which focus on providing practical tools and resources for single-parent families in Indianapolis.

Christopher Scott Homes proudly presented the evening, and sponsors from across the community joined in support of the cause. Proceeds from the gala will help the Foundation expand its reach, developing comprehensive systems of education and assistance tailored to single-parent households.
