By tearing down decaying eyesores, including a downtown convention center and an old department store, the city creates space for green areas, safe housing, and real neighborhood pride.

Heavy Investments Fueling a New Era

This transformation goes beyond demolition. In fact, $90 million in state matching funds will fuel a complete downtown redesign.
