Black Dads Event 2 Brings Indianapolis Fathers Together for Empowerment and Connection

On November 23, from noon to 2 p.m., black fathers and father figures in the Indianapolis area will have an empowering opportunity to come together at Black Dads Event 2. Hosted by local leaders Aaron Green (@bigspeakerag) and Quinton Collins (@thefar_academy), this event provides a safe, supportive space for Black fathers to discuss important topics, share experiences, and celebrate fatherhood.

With food and drinks provided, attendees will engage in meaningful conversations centered around the theme of breaking generational cycles, co-parenting, and strengthening family bonds. This year’s panel promises to be thought-provoking and diverse, featuring voices from different walks of life who are committed to creating positive change within their families and communities. Panelists include social influencers and local community leaders like @maxiefromnaptown, Aaron Green, @coachredd, and Quinton Collins.

The event will also include open discussions and moderated sessions led by @iamchinodollaz, @midwestleak, and @ledeana. These moderators bring unique insights and will help facilitate conversations that encourage vulnerability and growth among attendees.

An innovative approach to the event fee encourages support from family and friends, with a $20 entry cost to be paid by a loved one—no dad or father figure is expected to pay his own way. This policy underscores the importance of community support for father figures and celebrates the vital roles they play in the lives of their families.

Black Dads Event 2, held in partnership with Midwest Leak, is part of a larger movement to bring visibility and support to Black fathers in Indianapolis. Organizers hope the event will foster connections, spark new conversations, and provide practical advice for fathers navigating the challenges and joys of parenting.
