Meet the Indianapolis Native Sharing the Screen with Leonardo DiCaprio
Indianapolis native Chase Infiniti Payne is making her big-screen debut alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the new Paul Thomas Anderson film, ‘One Battle After Another’. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Musical Theatre, Chase got her start in television with a role in the Apple TV+ series ‘Presumed Innocent’. For this new project, she takes on the role of Willa Ferguson, the daughter of DiCaprio’s character, Bob Ferguson, a former revolutionary whose past resurfaces when his teenage daughter is kidnapped. The film also features Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Benicio Del Toro, and was released in theaters on September 26, 2025.
Chase, who grew up in Indianapolis and trained in both musical theater and martial arts, has been praised for her ability to embody the physical and emotional depth of her character. The role has been described as a star-making turn, putting her at the center of a high-stakes story while working alongside some of Hollywood’s most respected names.
