When the Community Shows Up, Parents Win: A Look Inside Indy’s Biggest Baby Shower
The Mom Cave Co’s 3rd Annual Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair filled The Cafe on East 38th Street with joy and support for families on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Expectant parents and families with little ones up to 12 months came together from across the city to take part in a day designed to provide both essential items and meaningful resources. While over 200 people had registered for the event, the turnout exceeded expectations as even more families arrived ready to connect, learn, and receive much-needed support.
Organizers made sure families left with items that would truly make a difference. Guests received 200 baby essentials bags filled with soap, washcloths, bibs, bottles, lotion, and wipes, alongside 900 diaper packs to help ease the financial strain of caring for little ones. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and excitement as attendees enjoyed not only the giveaways but also food, resources, and a sense of community. The Mom Cave Co’s annual event once again proved to be more than just a baby shower. It was a celebration of care, connection, and collective support for parents and children.
