Cultural Arts Take Center Stage at Indiana Black Expo’s 2025 Summer Celebration

Indiana Black Expo’s 2025 Summer Celebration is bringing an unforgettable experience to the heart of Indianapolis with the return of its Cultural Arts Pavilion. From July 18–20 at the Indiana Convention Center, Rooms 143–144, attendees will be immersed in a rich tapestry of Black creativity, history, and innovation all for free. The Pavilion is a collaborative masterpiece featuring contributions from top cultural institutions like Newfields, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Indiana State Museum, and more. With interactive exhibits, live performances, author talks, and powerful visual storytelling, the Pavilion stands as a dynamic tribute to Black artistry in all its forms.

This year’s theme centers Black excellence through fashion, music, history, fine art, and community connection. From visual art exhibits by talents like Tanía Michelle Wineglass and Faith Blackwell to live shows by performers like Jacob Latimore and Queen Quaymo, the lineup is packed with must-see moments. Guests can also check out the “Style Zone” fashion pop-up, a youth-focused improv comedy show, and even create their own sneakers at the Sneaker Bar. Whether you’re an art lover, music head, or fashion fan, the Cultural Arts Pavilion is where culture lives and breathes in Indianapolis this summer.
