Don’t Sleep’s Black Business Bizaar: Wakanda Wonderland Edition
On Saturday, Dec. 7, step into the world of Wakanda Wonderland, presented by Don’t Sleep at the Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center 2990 W 71st St, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

The Black Business Bazaar is about creating spaces where families and children of color can experience the magic of the holiday season in a way that reflects their lived experiences, while supporting and celebrating local Black-owned businesses. This year, we’re proud to continue the tradition of the Edgewater Financial Group “Black Santa Experience” in partnership with Rae Marcel Photography, offering a trip to Santa’s Workshop. Families can enjoy an immersive art-focused and letter-writing activity with Elf Sky Captain Ronald A. Craig of the Elsewhere Express North Pole Delivery Service.
Dominic Dorsey, President/Founder of Don’t Sleep
But that’s just the beginning! “Wakanda Wonderland” is back, featuring food trucks, inflatables, a bounce house, and even a visit from “The Grinch.” Our featured chef, Oya Woodruff of Chef Oya’s The TRAP, will be serving her signature “Trap Chowder” and gumbo straight from the concession stand. This event is intentionally designed to provide families an opportunity to engage with a Jolly Old Elf who looks like them, capturing the magic of the season for everyone involved.
Additionally, the 2024 Black Business Bazaar will include a live playlist curated by DJ Sounds by Cam, the Vinyl Destination DJ Battle League 2024 Triple Crown Champion. Expect everything from the Jackson 5 to Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey to The Temptations, Chris Brown to Nat King Cole, and all your favorite soulful holiday hits to keep the energy alive as you shop with over 100 Black-owned vendors inside the PMPHASE Marketplace.
