ClearView Q&A: Dead Silence
Favorite Indiana representative on a national level besides yourself?
I’ve got to go with Mike Epps. He’s always putting people on, whether it’s through music or film. He recently did a dope event at the park. He brought everyone out, and it was a great time. He even brought out some classic old-school acts from the ’90s. Definitely Mike!
What fictional character could be your best friend in real?
These are some good questions! I’ve got to go with Riley Freeman from The Boondocks. Why? Because of his humor, open-mindedness, and intelligence. Plus, if he needs to flip that switch, he can, but he knows how to keep it cool. So yeah, Riley Freeman.
Trump or Harris?
Oh, Kamala Harris all day! Personally, I think people are ready for a Black woman to lead the country. We already know what the typical candidate brings, but a Black woman—she’s smart, educated, open-minded, and focused on impactful policies. She’s been doing her thing, so yeah, Kamala Harris all day!
What is a recommended mental health resource?
I’d have to say going outside—that’s so underrated. It gives you a chance to see things differently, breathe in fresh air, hit the mental reset button, and change your scenery. Staying inside can trap you in your own thoughts, but stepping outside reminds you there’s so much more out there.
Yeah, get some vitamin D, soak up the sun, and enjoy the seasons—fall, spring, summer, even winter. And if the weather keeps you indoors, there’s always something you can do, like push-ups or sit-ups at home. The key is to keep your mind and body active, no matter the temperature.
You know you from Naptown if…
If you know what “how you what” means, then you know you’re from Naptown. Not everyone gets it, but it can mean things like “what’s good with you,” “how you doing,” or even “how much does something cost.” It has plenty of meanings behind it—”how you what.”
