From House Parties to Heavy Impact: Eli Builds Culture, Community, and Opportunity with Final 4 Boys

Eli is building more than parties. He is building purpose. As CEO of 8 Ballers and co-CEO of Final 4 Boys, Eli shared on the Midwest Leak Podcast how what started as a small idea at Ball State University in Muncie turned into a growing platform for events, concerts, and culture. Final 4 Boys began with house parties in a rental home, where one unforgettable night paid the rent and sparked a bigger vision. With no prior experience in Greek life or event promotion, Eli leaned into growth, curiosity, and community, eventually scaling from house parties to major events and concerts. A proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, he credits partnership and collaboration, especially with an older fraternity brother turned business partner, for helping him elevate his ideas and sharpen his business instincts.

Beyond events, Eli’s work is rooted in mentorship and responsibility. With a background in psychology and social work, and experience working with at-risk youth, he understands the power of influence and the lack of resources often facing Black students at predominantly white institutions. His mission is to create safe, welcoming spaces where young Black people in Indiana can gather, celebrate, and feel seen. Through Final 4 Boys and 8 Ballers, he is intentional about teaching others the business, allowing younger creatives to lead while he guides from behind the scenes. From launching a clothing brand and magazine titled Authentic to planning future events like Little Five in Bloomington, Eli is committed to paying it forward. His philosophy is simple but powerful. True success comes from helping others grow, and the real blessing is seeing those you mentor goes even further than you did.
