“Had a Talk With Him” is the first song I recorded when I got home. It’s about having a talk with God and building a relationship with him. The song is me in prayer. I’m pointing out the things he’s directing in his word in the bible and how they’re helping me. The word tells you to share what God has done for you in your life. It’s only fitting that I do that.
I sunk into a really dark place and I looked to drugs to cope... I wrote the song, “Hit the Line.” When you first listen to it you think it’s a song about a relationship issue. But in all actuality it’s about..
Tattooing showed me some real stuff in life. Be you and do what you do. Everybody doesn’t have to be a drug dealer. You don’t have to be the hardest person out. Bump slow music with your girl in the car if that’s what you like. Stay open, laughing and loving. Tattooing saved my life.
It’s unwritten laws and policies set forth by people that survived these conditions before us. They said this is what you do to survive. Ones that choose this life have to follow these rules to survive. We adhere to these laws. I live by the G code.
